Groups, businesses, and neighborhoods have joined together to ensure that families still have a chance to celebrate Halloween this year. Whether it’s a trunk-or-treat, block party, or spooky trail, there’s something for everyone.
Trunk or Treating
- Oct 26th 12:00pm-2:00pm – Halloween Trunk or Treat with Fletcher Parks & Recreation at Hunter Subaru – 220 Hunter Airport Drive, Fletcher NC. Candy, inflatables, and face painting. Registration is required.
- Oct 26th 4:00-pm-6:00pm – Trunk or Treat at Starbucks on Sweeten Creek – 1 Medical Park Drive, Asheville NC
- Oct 27th 5:00pm-7:00pm – Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat at Mills River United Methodist Church – 137 Old Turnpike Rd, Mills River NC. Get ready for a fun-filled night of food, games, hayrides and community spirit.
- Oct 31st 2:00pm-6:00pm – Trunk or Treat at Target in Asheville @ 115 River Hills Rd. FREE Community event. Hot meals, live DJ, movie, arts & crafts, face painting, costumes, and candy!

Halloween Events
- Oct 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th 6:00pm-9:00pm – The Haunted Trail at Adventure Center of Asheville. The Haunted Trail includes live-action spooky outdoor scenes with over 50 actors! It is a family-friendly live experience on an outdoor trail without contact. Geared towards families with kids age 3-12. A “Sweet Peek Tour” of the trail is available before it gets dark.
- Oct. 27, 1-4 p.m. – Boo Bash at Tanger Outlet Center. Pumpkin crafts, music, entertainment, giveaways and more. Trick-or-treating is available from 2-4 p.m., plus a festive photo booth with one free 4×6 inch photo and digital download of one image while supplies last.
- Oct. 31, 4-7 p.m. – Halloween Block Party, Downtown Asheville. Trick-or-treating and kids’ activities will include tile painting at Fired Up, a dog costume contest at Spicer Green Jewelers, live music, and other activities.
