Trails End Retreat
Featuring end-of-the-road privacy, this former sportsman’s camp backs up to Pisgah National Forest gamelands full of wild turkey, white-tail deer, and black bear.
The south-facing cove rises from 2400 ft at the base to 4000 ft on the ridgeline peaking near Devil’s Top summit. There is an improved dirtbed road up the mountain in excellent shape and miles of old logging roads which can be transformed into ATV, horse, biking, and hiking trails.
The headwaters of Brummetts Creek originate on the property.
The lodge has a unique open floor plan featuring hand-pegged maple wood floors. Features include a native stone fireplace, large wood stove, and sauna. It has additional sleeping quarters in the loft, and there is an additional shell building. The lodge looks out on a large pond and ~4 acres of pasture spread down the valley.
This tract offers many possibilities: private hunting lodge, commercial sportsman’s camp, nature retreat, and more. Come explore this epic property!
