Spring is a fantastic time to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains, and with the mild weather and blooming wildflowers, you’ll have a front-row seat to nature’s beauty. While portions of the Blue Ridge Parkway are still closed due to impact from Hurricane Helene, the National Park Service keeps their site up-to-date as sections continue to re-open. You can still take in the breathtaking views at the Graveyard Fields Overlook and experience the crafts and culture of the Southern Highlands artisans at the Folk Art Center. Visiting the Biltmore Estate in spring is a refreshing way to enjoy the outdoors and explore the historic mansion. As the gardens awaken from winter’s slumber, they come to life with colorful blooms, including tulips, daffodils, and azaleas, creating a beautiful setting for a walk and photos. The mild weather makes it an ideal time to stroll through the grounds and take in the scenic mountain views.
