Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Emily Pickelhaupt spent six years living out West before returning to the Blue Ridge Mountains and making Asheville home. Drawn back by the landscape and the sense of community, she is passionate about helping others find their place in Western North Carolina.
Before transitioning to real estate, Emily built a career in SEO and digital marketing, leading content strategy for nationally recognized brands including CNET and REI. While she enjoyed the work, it was the relationships she built along the way, and her own positive experience buying a home, that inspired her to pursue a career focused on guiding people through one of life’s biggest decisions. She believes that trust, communication, and lasting relationships are at the heart of every successful real estate experience.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys gardening, hiking, exploring local swimming holes, and riding horses. She is also active in Asheville’s bluegrass community with her fiancé and spends plenty of time with Greta the puppy, two cats, six chickens, and her leased pony, Bernie.
